The hydrogen liquefier built for our sister company Linde Gas is a medium-range facility that was integrated into the industrial complex of the refinery in Ingolstadt, Germany. Upstream from the unit is a steam reformer and a pressure variation adsorber step. Customers for hydrogen in liquid form have high demands regarding the purity of the product: the liquid hydrogen, which is delivered to customers by trailer, satisfies the quality requirements with a rating of 7.0.
Linde Kryotechnik is currently building further hydrogen liquefiers. In the hydrogen liquefaction segment, standard units are already available alongside customized solutions.
