European Cryogenic Days 2026

The ECD will bring together researchers, engineers, and industry experts from across Europe and beyond to promote knowledge sharing and networking in the field of cryogenic applications, such as Big Science, Fusion, Space, Superconductivity, Hydrogen, and Quantum technologies.

The program will feature keynote lectures, technical oral and poster presentations, exhibitions, and social events. Additionally, participants will have access to technical courses and tours of leading R&D laboratories and industries.

The event is hosted by the Département des Systèmes Basses Températures (DSBT, a CEA-UGA Research Laboratory), in collaboration with other Grenoble-based institutions and industry partners, and is supported by the Cryogenic Society of Europe (CSE) and the Association Française du Froid – Commission Cryogénie et Supraconductivité (AFF-CCS).

Linde Kryotechnik holds Gold Membership in the CSE. The 2026 General Meeting of the CSE will be held as a satellite event to ECD-2026 on Tuesday, 13 October 2026.
